AROUND the Hoh

The Hoh experiences 250 days of measurable precipitation, some years that amounts to 90" per year, some years 190".  What that means is that our summers are special, the whole Forks area comes alive with outdoor activities once the downpours have turned to foggy rainbows.

MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

It is a little known fact that Mt Olympus is a pleasant break from over-traveled mountaineering spots.  Very few make the trek 18 miles through the rainforest to begin the trek up the glacier and rock.  The view at the top is worth every mile!
